Airtrain
Airtrain is the privately-owned Queensland company – Airtrain Citylink Limited – who own and operate the Airport line from just south of Toombul Station to Domestic Station. The line opened in May 2001.The company operates services under a "BOOT" (Build, Own, Operate then Transfer) arrangement with the Queensland Government where, after 35 years, Airtrain hands the line to the Government at no cost. Services are seamlessly integrated with the QR Citytrain network, where Airtrain pays QR for various services including the supply of rollingstock and train crew. See also: crew, QR, rollingstock |
