The Gold Coast (Robina) line runs for 85.3 kilometres (53.0 miles) south-east from Brisbane's Central Station.
Normal suburban services are provided by QR Citytrain, and the average travel time between Robina and Central is approximately 72 minutes, depending on the actual service and stopping pattern.
The line between Beenleigh and Robina was opened in 1996 (to Helensvale) and 1997 (to Robina).
Services operated by IMU trains regularly travel at 140 km/h in this section.
