Rosewood Line SUBURBAN CONNECTIONS The Rosewood line connects with and continues north as the Ipswich line. LONG DISTANCE CONNECTIONS Passengers for intrastate and interstate services need to detrain at Rosewood, Ipswich, or change at Ipswich (depending on service) for the services to Roma Street for the Brisbane Transit Centre; check prior to travelling. The Rosewood line runs for 57.0 kilometres (35.4 miles) south-west from Brisbane's Central Station. Normal suburban services are provided by QR Citytrain, and the average travel time between Rosewood and Ipswich is approximately 18 minutes for an all stations service. During peak flow periods, some services continue to Central in the mornings and from Central in the afternoons. The average travel time from Central is approximately 71 minutes for a direct service, or 80 minutes for a service with a change at Ipswich.
