QR Citytrain:
Bicycle Travel

Bicycles are permitted on Citytrain services at no charge, excluding the following peak flow periods, due to heavy patronage:

Monday to Friday (excluding gazetted public holidays)
7:00am - 9:30am
3:00pm - 6:30pm

All travel in the peak flow direction must be completed by 7.00am and 3.00pm respectively.

Peak flow direction is defined as follows:

In the morning, peak flow travel is towards the CBD. Bicycles will not be allowed until the last CBD station.

In the afternoon, peak flow travel is outward from the CBD. Bicycles will not be allowed after the first CBD station.

The CBD (Central Business District of Brisbane) comprises Brunswick Street, Central and Roma Street stations.

Bicycles are not permitted on services operated by ICE trains (identified by having a Train Number of X---). They do not have double width automatic doors, an therefore can cause inconvenience to other passengers when entering and exiting.
