QR Citytrain: Night Travel For your comfort and security, night trains are regularly patrolled by Police Officers, Private Security Guards and Citytrain Transit Service Officers. During these hours, the front carriage of a three car unit, and the front carriage of a six car unit will be closed after 6:00pm and the lights turned off. On Fridays only, the rear three carriages of a six car unit will be closed, and on Sundays the two front carriages of the train will be closed. These are the default arrangements - they will vary depending on passenger loadings and the time of sunset.
