QR Citytrain: Concessional Fares (Tertiary and other Post-Secondary Students) Full time students attending approved Tertiary or Post-Secondary institutions located in Queensland (such as University or TAFE), and undertaking a course at Post-Secondary level which is eligible for AUSTUDY, Abstudy or the Common Youth Allowance, may present their photo-ID cards to obtain a 50% discount. The photo-ID must show the QR logo. Other conditions apply to any type of concessional ticket. Details are available at any attended QR Citytrain station. It is an offence to travel on a concession ticket when you are not entitled to one. Proof of entitlement to the concession must be produced upon request by authorised QR Citytrain staff.
