Train Information by Telephone

There are several ways to get information on trains by telephone:

TRANSINFO: 13 1230
Details on train departure times, fares and special services may be obtained by telephoning TRANSINFO. This service is available from 6am to 9pm on Monday to Friday (excepting gazetted public holidays) and from 7am to 9pm any other day.

This service also supplies information for bus and ferry services within the South-East Queensland area.

Note that after hours, the automated recorded voice service that once operated TRANSINFO is no longer available. When TRANSINFO is not available, use the alternative service below.

QR Citytrain: (07) 3235 5555
QR Citytrain Passenger Service Officers operate this line, which is available at all times. However, only QR-specific information can be obtained from this service.

QR Citytrain TTY (Telephone Typewriter Service): (07) 3235 5800
If you have hearing and/or speech difficulties, use this number to reach QR Citytrain Passenger Service Officers by TTY.

QR Citytrain Stations: various
